600 Global in Phoenix, Arizona is a breeding ground for success. Their hands-on training, internal career advancement program, as well as their dedicated management team, has created a culture around personal and professional development. We’ve seen that even that least experienced individual can be extremely successful at this firm if they are willing to put in the work and operate with integrity. Recently, we had a chance to meet one of these employees. His name is Shawn Cannata and he has been working with the company for about one year. Our main objective was to hear, first hand, the type of things has learned while working here. And that we did, check it out!
So, Shawn, you’ve been working at 600 Global for a year now, what have you taken away that you are applying both professionally and personally?
“Since working here I have definitely grown personally and professionally. The biggest thing I am seeing in my personal life is that I am overall more confident in myself and my abilities. I’m now able to coach and develop other people in their career as well as in things in their personal lives. I’ve truly developed into a strong leader.”
That’s awesome! Since you mentioned that you are now able to coach others in their career, what would you say is the biggest career lesson that you have learned so far?
“I feel the most important thing I’ve learned is that anyone can be successful if they put their mind to it (what you think about, you become.) It’s all about loving what you do and having purpose. There’s no seniority and unlimited growth opportunities for those willing to work hard to accomplish their goals here. I love the people and the company I work for and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.”
So there you have it, folks. One employee’s experiences at 600 Global and how it’s taken him from an entry level profession to a confident, poised leader ready to attack his goals.
